My daughter practicing one of her duos. The girl behind her is her best friend Brooke..she rocks too! These two girls are so goofy together. To bad she is moving away this summer. Chandraya will be very sad. The name of their duo is "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep". They are not in costume.

One of my favorite things about Chandraya:
She is very positive. She is so happy with most anything. Doesn't complain a whole lot or dwell on bad things. She loves everyone.

Chandraya's Week to Shine!



This is my little dancer, Chandraya. She has a love for dance like no other 7 year old. She rocks at it and practices all the time and when she is not practicing for her dances she is choreographing her own.
She is a very smart young lady and loves to color, draw, paint and cut things. She loves boys..yes already chases them around...going to have to get a bat big enough to detour them from our house. hehehe.

My Favorite thing about Chandraya:
I love it when she smiles. She smiles with her whole face and her teeth are just to cute!

January 29th

OK..I am going a day over with Troy..I forgot to take a portrait with him.  Soooo here it is.  He rocks!  He is my best bud and I love him so much! 



This was a crazy photoshoot and I knew it would be.  He is always goofing around.  We spent 95% of the time laughing. 

January 28th

Troy loves this stuff! He was eating it on his pizza tonight.
Took several different shots but only liked this one. Wanted more of an advertising shot.

One of my favorite things about Troy:
He is very motivated and doesn't have to be told what to do. He gets himself up in the morning to go swimming and goes to work on time. He also pays me for half his insurance. What a kid!

My son has beautifu green and brown eyes.  He looks like he is always mad but he isn't..that is just his expression.  I guess he gets that from his mom. :-))

One of my favorite things about Troy:
He gives everyone a second chance.  He is patient with friends and is very loyal to them.  If I was a teen I would love to have him as a friend.

January 26th

Wow, he shaves! Can you believe he has been shaving for 3 years now. First time I took pictures of it. Should have done that when he first shaved. Oh well..I captured it now.

One of my favorite things about Troy:
He is very witty and makes me laugh all the time. Thanks..you keep mom rolling.

January 25th

ok..going to try this again..deleted the first one and like a big dummy I didn't copy and paste. grrrr

My feet on the left and my son Troy's on the right. He is a big kid. 6'1" tall and weighs 180lbs. He has always been a big kid. Was tease quite a bit in school because he was more physically mature..so he decided he wanted to be homeschooled. So that is what we do. He swims at 5:00am comes home at 8:00am..sleeps for an hour or watches tv. Does his chores and leaves for work at 11:45-3:00. 3:30-5:45 he swims again. Comes home and eats watches tv and goes to bed. He does some school but during this season he does a lot of swimming. He is so far ahead in school that he doesn't need to work the 7 hours like most kids.

One of my favorite thing about Troy:
He loves going to church and hanging with the good kids. He doesn't party and doesn't intend to real soon either. He knows a lot about the Bible and enjoys teaching me what he learns in youth group.

January 24th

Woot! Look at that arm. 2005 has been a changing year for my son. He has focused on his body and taking better care of himself. Setting goals and figuring out what he wants to do in the future. He has been swimming and weightliftting while watching his diet. I am very proud of him and am enjoying watching him become a man. He wants to be a Personal Trainer. I think he will do well. Hopefully he will get a scholarship to college..he deserves it!

January 23rd

My son in front of his car. It is dirty because he hasn't had time to get it washed. Busy young man.

One of my favorite things about Troy:
He is really good with my other kids. Has a real love for them all. His relationship with the girls is awesome. Makes me smile when I see him playing with them.

January 22nd

Troy's Week to Shine

This is Troy. The oldest of my kids. He is working at Papa Murphey's and is loving it. I went in there today and took a few shots that he was not happy with..LOL. He wanted me to leave him alone. hahaha..like I am going to do that. First job! I got to get pictures...sorry, but that is my job as a photographer mother.
He is making me a Vegeterian Pizza. My favorite pizza ever made.
He also got a $0.25 raise today also for being such a good worker this past month.
I am so proud of him. Love you, bud!
My favorite thing about Troy is:
I love chatting with him. He has always been my talking buddy. We talk about everything.

January 21st

Me and my precious little baby!  I know she isn't a baby but she is my baby.  This little girl makes me laugh and smile constantly.  She is cute and spoiled.  Scary because when she gets older it will be tough to deal with.  I am hoping she will follow the rest of the kids and be a good girl.  She has the biggest heart and loves everyone.  Very independent child who will probably make out of life what she wants and go far with her accomplishments.

January 20th

My daughter loves to get new things.  She loves shoes as much as me. :-))  Both my girls got a pair like this...to bad they didn't have my size.

One of my favorite things about Lila Mae:
I love it when she tells me "I am proud of you, Mom" when I tell her she can have something or go somewhere.  She gives me a big grin and a kiss.  She is proud of me..that is good to know.  LOL

January 19th

Bathtime!  One of her many looks.  This one gets her in trouble though when she does it to her brothers and sister.  She wasn't being mean today, just giving me different looks so she can see herself.
She loves the tub and will sit in there for hours getting all wrinkly and stuff.  Can't say she isn't clean.

One of my favorite things about Lila Mae:
She sings me songs after I sing her a song at bedtime.  And while she sings she rubs my face and kisses my cheek. Gotta love her.

January 18th

Lila Mae"s big brown eye. I would have a better shot but she got mad because she wanted to take a picture. So this is it. I have one of her crying but didn't think it was appropriate to put it in here..hahaha.

One of my favorite things about Lila Mae:
When she tells me something she uses her hands to draw a picture for me. I don't know what she is saying and she gets mad at me when I don't get what she drew for me. I laugh and she gets even more mad, so I have to stay serious and try to get what she is telling me. I think she is going to be an artist. She draws very good and can be very creative when coloring.

January 17th

My daughter with her animals she loves to sleep with. The reason why she loves these ones the most is because they have a ribbon around their neck that is rough on one side and smooth on the other. She likes to take her fingers and rub both sides. You can see her doing that to the red ribbon. It's funny when she sleeps with me she'll wake up in the middle of the night and her rubbing the ribbon wakes me up. The first time I heard it I was a bit freaked out. hahaha.. If you were a fly on the wall..ROFL!

One of my favorite things about Lila Mae is: is her kisses on the cheek and her big hugs. When I leave for a photoshoot or whatever and she can't go she runs up to me and gives me the biggest hug and kiss and if I happen to miss that hug I always go back because she sits by the window and cries. Awww.. bless her heart!

January 16th

Today we decided to get the cookie stuff out and decorate some cookies for Valentines Day. I know..it isn't here yet and the cookies will be gone by the time that day comes. The girls love to be creative and make things. This is my Lila Mae being silly when I told her to smile for me. She is a goofball with a fun personality.
One of my favorite things about Lila Mae:
I love it when she sleeps next to me. She has to be touching me in some way. Makes me feel needed. :-))

January 15th

My youngest. She is a little skunk. Always demanding attention but is a blast to play with. Does cry much when she gets hurt and can bulldoze anyone down. She is a little princess also, who likes to put makup on and dress in frilly dresses. She is 4 going on 14.

I had a wedding shoot today.  These were great folks to work with.  I had an assistant, Ben, who helped me today.  He has a sweet camera and let me use one of his lenses.  Great guy.  He is a member on dpc also.  Thanks Ben!!!

January 13th

While in Billings we thought we would drive around and get ourselves lost.  Didn't happen.  We found our way out of the mess of traffic andto the interstatethat would lead us home. This is a picture of us coming down the cliff that sits on the North side of the city. 

January 12th

Taken at my MIL's house.  Took Zachery to a new doctor. The doctor is putting Zachery on some new medication and more remicade infusions.  I sure hope this helps him get better.  He had an X-ray of his intestines and some blood work done.  Was to tired to take a picture of anything else..the drive up here about killed me..LOL.

January 11th

Wasn't sure what to take a picture of. I was going to take a picture of some landscaping but my day flew by to fast.  I didn't have time to get my camera out.  I have two days off..so I will be playing with the candid challenge.  Won't be on tomorrow so don't expect a picture till Friday.

My daughter and the camera I gave her.  She is such a goof.  If I take my camera she has to take hers.  hehee.. like mother like daughter with her.  Not sure what I am going to do when Lila Mae wants one.  She was taking pictures with my camera today and I am NOT going to give her mine. LOL

My son had a swim meet here in town and while waiting for him to swim after the divers were done I took a few pictures.  Loved the refection from the flags.

My son took 3rd in the 200yd freestyle.  He qualified by 5 seconds.  Way to go, Son!  Love you!  Qualifing time is 2:04, his score 1:59.
He come a 8/10's of a second from qualifying for the 100 free.

Another stock. This is a necklace my daughter wore  for one of her tap dances.  One of my favorite costumes, but she wasn't to happy with it because it itched.

Happy New Year 2006

My girls and I spent the evening together. Troy went to bed early and Zachery went to a church function. I guess from now on it will be just the girls and I on New Years Eve. :-(

We had a blast. We made chicken bar bits..mmmm.. Chandraya made the sause which was excellent. We partied a bit with the poppers and then made shakes. We decorated them with fun drink toothpicks. We seen the ball slowly drop and counted down together to the New Year. We then blew off my poppies. Here is the first picture of 2006.
